IPC, Procurement and Tissue Viability teams are currently reviewing hand hygiene wipes available for our patients. 

Patient hand hygiene is important to keep our patients safe from infection.  While we are reviewing wipes available, the wards will be provided with Clinell Hand wipes - (Blue package, Please see photo) the wipes are for hand hygiene only and SHOULD NOT to be used on patient's faces or for personal/continence care.

Please remember to offer hand hygiene at key times e.g. prior to meals and after toileting.
