Important Fire Safety Training Notice

To all Managers/Deputies,

Managers, Fire Safety Responsible Person (Roles and Responsibilities) Course

The above course covers all aspects of roles and responsibilities in terms of managing fire safety within your working environment.  It's designed for Band's 5, 6, 7 and above, with responsibility for the management of fire safety/health and safety.   

The main focus will be to get all in-patient care area managers/deputies to attend first, however, we won't turn away other willing managers/deputies wanting to attend.    

Directorate Managers/Matrons for all in-patient care areas including higher risk areas such as ICCU, Theatres etc - you are requested to get your ward managers/deputies on the course as soon as possible so that they fully understand their legal responsibilities in providing a level of fire safety, that complies with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, within their working area.  

The course is available to book on ESR and once complete is valid for 3 years.  When doing this course, you will also get your mandatory face to face training competence at the same time.  Please ensure you book on the right course when selecting this session.
