Please can all staff make themselves aware of changes to be implemented by Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Service. These are changes to the way they respond to fire alarm incidents at healthcare premises, including hospitals.
These changes will come into effect on 1st December 2021, would all managers please make sure their staff are aware.
