The Safeguarding Team will be hosting Hot Topic events around recent Fire Fatalities and Pathways.

These will be held at:

  • SRH Lecture Theatre on 23rd June 2023 at 09:30 till 10:30 am
  • STDH Lecture Theatre on the 17th July 2023 at 09:30 till 10:30 am

The Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Service (TWFRS) will be in attendance to give updates around preventing fire fatalities and partnership pathways for our patients. This will be a valuable session as TWFRS have recently flagged a concerning rise in fire deaths across the North East.
