Sunderland City Council is currently running a survey with health and social care workers to understand more about vaccinations. If you complete the survey, you will be entered into a draw to win an Amazon voucher. Please see the information below:

Illness from diseases such as Covid-19 and flu can have a great impact on the health and social care workforce – both impacting your own personal health, and creating a strain on the workforce as staff must take time off work to recover. As you know, both of these illnesses can be vaccinated against free on the NHS, which can reduce likelihood of contraction.

You may remember hearing about, or taking part in, some work last year around Covid-19 and flu vaccines. Sunderland City Council is currently undertaking some further research on this issue, to understand what could be done to make getting vaccinated easier or more attractive for the health and social care workforce. They are keen to ensure they hear from the workforce directly to ensure your opinions are taken into account in future planning.

They are therefore requesting your help with this piece of work, to ensure that the voice of the health and social care workforce is heard. Taking part involves filling out a short survey online, so they are asking you to support them by completing this survey: www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/hscwsurvey

At the end of the survey, you can enter into a prize draw to win one of five £20 Amazon vouchers as a thank you for taking part.

You also have the option to opt-in to a short follow-up chat with a member of the research team. This is completely optional, but those who choose to take part in this next stage will be given £40 as a thank you for participating.

All responses are completely confidential and anonymous. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with Social Marketing Gateway (SMG), the company that is carrying out the research on Sunderland City Councils behalf.
