Health and Safety Self-Assessment Information

Further to recent communications, the health and safety self-assessment has now been distributed across the Trust and the deadline for this to be completed is the 30^th April 2023, however we are asking that it be completed without delay. 

We have found from our responses so far that on average the self-assessment will take on average 15 minutes to complete so we urge any staff responsible for their team's health and safety self-assessment to please do so.

We thank those teams who have already returned their self-assessment and our team will review the completed returns once the self-assessment audit period is over. 

Any managers or senior members of staff responsible for their team's health & safety systems and procedures who have not yet received the link from their Directorate Managers to the self-assessment, please click here. The self-assessment has been updated to allow multiple submissions per person.

This self-assessment is essential to give the health and safety team a picture of compliance across the Trust and will help to identify where resources, by means of health and safety support within teams and departments, are required in both clinical and non-clinical areas.
