Happy retirement to Denise 'Din' Souter

A message from Din's colleagues:

Denise 'Din' Souter has retired from the adult Speech and Language Therapy team after working with us as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant. Din has been with STSFT for 47 years - starting age 16 years as an HCA and then moving onto the stroke unit (as was), to work as a rehabilitation assistant and latterly with our team to work as a SLTA for approximately 24 years. 

The SLT team at South Tyneside would like to wish Din a happy retirement and thank her for the amazing work that she has done throughout her career to support both patients and their families with communication and swallowing therapy. Her care and compassion for the patients and enthusiasm for the job has been outstanding. Din will be greatly missed by the all of the team!
