April is Stress Awareness Month and at STSFT we would love to hear about the things that help our wonderful staff to cope, when they feel stressed or things that provide them with a sense of wellbeing.
With this in mind, our staff psychological support service, Thrive, is launching a photography competition.
We’re inviting you to share your photos of things that give you a sense of wellbeing, contentment, happiness or things that help you cope when you are feeling stressed. We are doing this for a number of reasons:
One - we hope that these photos will inspire others. These may be photos you already have on your camera roll or photos you have taken specifically for the competition.
Two – we want to know what helps you, to see if there are any other initiatives we can put in place, like we already have done with our wellbeing walks.
And three – we want to use your photography and images within our clinic spaces and across wider areas across the Trust.
Throughout the month of April, we will be sharing some of your entries to inspire more people to take part. At the end of the month, a panel of judges will select the winning photographs. These will be printed, framed and hung up in STSFT locations including Thrive clinic spaces.
There are several categories for the photos which we have linked with the 5 ways to wellbeing. We know that money is tight for a lot of us at the moment and therefore encourage you to share photos of things/activities that are either free or low cost.
If you wish to submit a photo, please send it in to: stsft.thrivecampaigns@nhs.net with:
Your full name, role and department
A brief description of the photo - where is it? what does it include/feature?
The category you would like to enter.
At the end of April, our panel will meet to select the winning photographs which we will announce in early May!
