Would you like some basic cycle training to help you back on a bike?

Adults across Sunderland who feel that they need a little support to get on a cycle are being offered FREE training sessions at Thompson Park in Sunderland this summer, with the Sunderland Young Peoples Bike Project.

The park has a purpose built area for beginner riders and those just needing extra support and confidence before heading back out on their bikes.

The sessions are ran by accredited cycle trainers who can work with you on your cycling skills whatever your ability.

Bikes and helmets are provided at the sessions, if you do not want to bring your own.

If you need an 'adapted' cycle or require any additional assistance, then please email: sypbp1@gmail.com after booking. The team will be happy to discuss your requirements and arrange the correct cycle and help for you and your training needs.

They have a variety of sessions available, for women only and men only groups as well as mixed sessions. Weekend and evenings are available.
