We are aware there are currently problems trying to contact South Tyneside District Hospital and Palmer Community Hospital from external telephone lines.

This is a problem affecting mobile phones on the EE network and some BT landlines.   

This has been reported to BT who are working to resolve the problem.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
