Our colleagues will be hosting sessions and joining in events to mark the day.

Our Trust will be working to support Armed Forces Day, which is on Saturday, June 24.

Tobi Oladipo, our Armed Forces Healthcare Lead, and Gemma Taylor, Workforce Development and Education Manager, will host information stalls.

These will offer more details about our work with those who serve, are veterans or are reservists.

Both events will be in the restaurants and run from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

The first will be on Tuesday, June 20, at South Tyneside District Hospital.

It will be followed by one at Sunderland Royal Hospital on Thursday, June 22.

Our children’s wards have kindly agreed to make cards for Veterans In Crisis and NAAFI Break.

A representative of each will be invited to visit and accept these or they may presented to one of their meetings.

Tobi will also attend the Armed Forces Day event at Seaburn on Saturday, June 24.

More details are on the poster below.

Tobi will host a stall offering how we offer opportunities to veterans and reservists in our Trust.
