Rainbow pledges

Staff can write their inclusion pledge to receive an NHS Rainbow Flag badge.   The badges are a symbol of inclusion, to complete your inclusion pledge visit Rainbow Badge Pledge :: South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust Intranet (stsft.nhs.uk)

These are some recent pledges made by our staff:

  • I pledge to be inclusive because I believe no-one should be judged by what they believe in, their sexuality, gender or orientation.
  • I feel inclusion is important because it allows people to access support and resources without judgement.
  • I feel inclusion is important as it involves all members and prevents barriers. It is educating and allows discussion.

We would love for staff to help create a video of inclusion pledges.  If you are interested, please get in touch with the inclusion team via email- Stsft.Inclusion@nhs.net
