Lumi Nova: Tales of Courage is a personalised digital therapeutic game for children aged 7-12 who are experiencing difficulties with fears and worries / anxiety. It is an exciting therapeutic support offer that is recommended by the National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE), and has been co-designed with children, parents, NHS clinicians, and experts in mental health, human-centred design, gaming, and digital technology.

From September 2023, children and families across Sunderland will be able to access Lumi Nova free of charge by following a simple self sign up process. Schools, GPs and other professionals working with children and their families can signpost them to access Lumi Nova directly for instant access to therapeutic support.
