Deputy Chief Nursing Officer visit

On Friday (14th October) we had a site visit from Deputy Chief Nursing Officer for England - Duncan Burton and David Purdue - new Chief Nurse for the ICB and will soon be the Lead for the ICS for Children and Young People. 

They came for a look around our Paediatric departments, neonates, maternity and Paediatric ED department. They also had an update on our plans for International recruitment of nurses as Duncan has an interest in this. We hosted them for the full morning and gave them an overview of our services. 

We pointed out lots of positive things happening in the Trust one being the "We Can Talk" project we launched in April 2022 to support children and young people in mental health crisis, and Duncan decided to do a selfie next to it in this picture which he Tweeted in our Paeds ED.
