The sessions provided by DDOT will include a simulation training course that gives staff the experience of what patients may perceieve in a hospital setting if they have dementia, sensory impairment or dexterity problems. The session is interactive and will involve students experiencing how sensory impairment and cognitive issues can affect communication, eating, drinking and mobilising. All staff groups are welcome.

The DDOT will also be hosting a webinar alongside the Patient Experience Team on Tuesday 16th May, 16:00-17:30 via Teams. Click here to find out what will be talked about during the session and how to join the webinar.
