The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) has asked us to let Trust staff know places are available for its upcoming conference. 

Research, the NHS and you - NIHR Conference for people new to research will be hosted at the ExCeL in London.

It will take place on Thursday, September 21.

Any Trust staff interested in going will need to have travel costs covered by their own department or budget.

Organisers say it will be ideal for people working with or within the NHS who are curious about research.

They will want to learn about how they can get involved through the different training and mentoring opportunities open to them.

It is not relevant for experienced Chief or Principal Investigator, Clinical Research Fellows engaged in research or professionals who have research as a substantial part of their current work plan, such as those who spend 50% or more of their time is already spent on research.
