At the annual British Academy of Audiology conference in Manchester, STSFT Audiologists, Simon Howe and Lynzee McShea, were delighted to be awarded the Clinical Research Poster Prize for their poster 'The use of auditory evoked potentials for people with learning disabilities: A scoping review summary'. The award was presented by BBC TV presenter Lewis Vaughan-Jones and was chosen from over 100 entries. This research is due to be submitted for peer-reviewed publication imminently, and is part of several projects in the Audiology department aimed at improving the diagnosis and management of hearing loss in those with learning disabilities.
