The Fit Testing Team at Sunderland have moved, we are no longer based at the Old Gum Clinic. New location is situated next to Occupational health ( access is to the left of the OH entrance).

Fit testing continues to be available at Sunderland-
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30am-3.30pm 
Please contact the team on 42495.
The team can also visit wards and departments to carry out fit testing.

South Tyneside Hospital -Ward 22 Ext 2523
Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am-3.30pm 

To ensure the Trust continues to be FFP3 resilient the following Prinicples have been set out by NHS England:

  • All staff fit tested to at least 2 different masks.
  • All staff fit tested every 2 years.

Fit testing information will be recorded on your ESR.
