BMJ Best Practice access now available through Trust Intranet and Meditech

BMJ Best Practice can be accessed on a Trust computer. If you wish to use BMJ Best Practice off-site or with an account, you can register for an account here with an OpenAthens account. If you do not have an OpenAthens account or have issues accessing OpenAthens, please contact Trust Library Services. 

The IM&T team have now kindly intergrated being able to access BMJ Best Practice through the Intrnet and Meditech. To access via the Intranet, please click on 'Clinical Systems and Apps'. 

On Meditech, BMJ Best Practice can also be accessed through the external links/reference link at the bottom right of the home screen. Once on the external links page, you can access BMJ Best Practice a couple of ways:

• Entering a search string (e.g. 'pneumonia' without the quotes) at the top of the page and selecting BMJ Best Practice from the Reference drop down menu, followed by clicking on the green tick OK button towards the bottom right of the screen - this will open BMJ Best Practice with the search you have entered
