A big thank you to all colleagues who have supported the Trust to prepare for strike action. We have plans in place to make sure we can keep our services running as smoothly as possible throughout this time.  

We do expect services to be busier. There will be disruption to some non-urgent planned care. Patients affected by the strike have been contacted. We are encouraging people to continue to attend all appointments unless they hear from us.

As part of our preparations, refresher training is now available on Meditech V6 for attend any colleagues who will be supporting the Trust during the strike period and may need to refresh their skills.  A training video is available here:  Meditech Overview Session - YouTube.

The IT team will be available for extended hours during the strike action. Calls will be taken between 7am and 10pm (with on call provision out of hours).
