BMA Industrial Action next week
Thank you to all colleagues who are supporting with the Trust's response to next week's BMA Industrial Action. This will take place from 7am on Tuesday 11 April until 7am on Saturday 15 April. The strike action from junior doctors will be for 96 hours and follows the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. We have plans in place to support the Trust's operational response and want to thank everyone who will be working over the weekend and throughout next week. As part of our preparations, refresher training is now available on Meditech V6 for attend any colleagues who will be supporting the Trust during the strike period and may need to refresh their skills. A training video is available here: Meditech Overview Session - YouTube.
There will be some disruption to planned care and we are already letting patients know in advance if this affects them. Through the region's Provider Collaborative we have also issued some public messaging today in advance of next week.
