Our bed replacement programme will start at Sunderland Royal Hospital from Tuesday 20th June 2023. 
 
There will be restricted access to the ramp towards entrance 10 (Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Medicine). This will be in place every Tuesday and Wednesday for 12 weeks. Patients / visitors will still be able to access the entrance, but will not be able to drive up the ramp to exit. There will be as little disruption to patient care as possible. 
    
We will have extra staff on hand to support this. Training will be provided on the new equipment. Wards will be contacted in advance with further information.
