During the pandemic, therapists working in isolation needed to be supported in innovative ways to ensure core service targets could still be acheived. Following staff surveys it was decided that staff would be encouraged to have virtual engagement meetings with their colleagues. These meetings were facilitated by Trust wellbeing champions to help alleviate the feelings of isolation reported in staff surveys. To make sure that staff could attend the meetings they were allowed to have one less clinical contact per month.
