Applications are now open - Tackling Health Inequalities module

Health inequalities are avoidable and unfair differences in health. This can be differences in access, experience and outcomes. At STSFT we care about all of our patients and we want to deliver the best care to everyone.

Following the success of our first “Tackling Health inequalities programme” at the end of last year, the Trust funding a further 15 places this year.  We have designed the programme, which is available at Degree and Masters level, with the University of Sunderland. The course will look at unfair and avoidable differences in heath, what causes them and how we can take positive action in our day-to-day roles to reduce them.
