Amiodarone 300mg/10ml solution for injection/infusion in a 10ml pre-filled syringe is out of stock until early August 2023.

Amiodarone 150mg/3ml solution for injection ampoules remain available instead of prefilled syringes on your resuscitation trolley.

The Medusa IV guide advises that if a pre-filled syringe is not available, the required dose can be given using 2 ampoules of 150mg in 3ml (300mg) undiluted or diluted in 10-20mL of glucose 5%.
