The Trust’s Allocate on Arrival (AoA) incentive will continue until further notice. This is a £100 incentive for shifts booked via the AoA rosters at South Tyneside District Hospital and Sunderland Royal Hospital. There are shifts available for registered nurses (Band 5) and healthcare assistants (Band 2). 

Staff who pick up AoA shifts will be redeployed to an area of greatest clinical need. Please note that you may be moved during a shift.

 There are ED corridor shifts available via the AoA rosters.  These shifts have a specific note attached, which identify the shifts as ED corridor.

NHSP £100 incentive for (EICO) shifts

The Trust’s EICO shift incentive will continue until further notice. This is a £100 incentive for EICO shifts. This is for HCAs who have completed the Trust’s Enhanced Interactive Care and Observation (EICO) training. You must have the Band 3 code as part of your NHSP profile.

£250 NHSP incentive scheme

 The £250 NHSP incentive scheme concludes on Friday 24 February and at this time will not be renewed.

All Incentive Terms and Conditions

  • Staff must be registered with NHSP.
  • Staff will be eligible for the incentive payments once NHSP has confirmed that shifts have been worked in the qualifying period.
  • Please note – all incentive payments are subject to the usual tax and national insurance deductions.
  • Allocate on Arrival shifts MUST be booked via the Allocate on Arrival rosters in order to be eligible for the incentive.
  • The incentive is applicable to one shift per day, therefore if you choose to work an early and late shift you will receive £100.
  • Only shifts with the code CSW03 are eligible for the EICO incentive.
  • Minimum shift requirement for AoA and EICO is 6-hours. Any shift less than 6-hours will not be eligible for the incentive.
