Statutory and Mandatory Training

The Trust has to provide this training by law, to meet certain regulations or to manage risks.  We use the words Mandatory Training to cover both statutory and mandatory training.   The subjects (what the training is e.g. fire), target audience (who has to do it) and frequency (how often) are approved, reviewed and amended by the Board.    Trust approved mandatory training topics are listed in the Mandatory Training Needs Analysis.  The type of training (classroom or e-learning) for each topic and where to find it in the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) is shown in the Mandatory Training Directory.
