Role overview

The Clinical Team Manager (Integrated Teams) is a band 7 role. They are accountable for the overall management and development of the team / service, deployment and supervision of staff and ensuring the co-ordination of services provided, optimising the cost effective use of all resources. They line manage the team, with overall accountability and responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of patient / client care through the provision of effective clinical and managerial leadership.

Qualifications and Experience required

Registered Nurse with NMC, educated to degree level. To have a recognised teaching qualification. Significant experience at Band 6 level or above in a community setting. Experience of Multi-disciplinary / multi-agency working, leading clinical development and managing change are all essential to undertaking this role.

During your appraisal discussions if you are “aspiring” to undertake this role in the future then having shadowing experience of budgetary projects, service improvement projects would help further prepare you for the role.
