Click here to open a guide to creating your own JustGiving Fundraising page, please make sure that you follow the instructions to link your page to the charity's own page, this ensures that the funds are transferred automatically, also be sure to describe why you are fundraising and which ward/department you’re fundraising for.
This guide outlines the processes to follow when receiving donations, this guide refers to the two old charities, but those processes still apply at present. new processes and resources are being developed for use with the new merged charity.

Click the link below to download a thank you letter template, amend it where necessary with your name and address. Please ensure that you personalise the letter referring to the reason why the donation was made. Make sure that the receipt details are accurate and enclose the cashiers receipt for the donation.

Click to open the Guide to applying to Charitable Funds
The guide outlines the process to follow in applying to use charitable funds, if you have any questions your first port of call should be your Directorate Manager who is likely to be the delegated fund manager for your ward/service and will have experience in applying for charitable funds.
Below are the deadlines for the submission of completed proposal forms to finance ahead of consideration at Charitable Funds Committee. We require the proposals well in advance of meeting dates to allow for checking and clarification.

Friday 8th October for the November Committee meeting
This guide is in development.
It will outline the processes involved in the management of individual funds, how to create new funds, how to close old unneeded funds and where to access fund information. For advice and guidance in the meantime please contact the finance staff responsible for managing charitable funds.
